Become a Volunteer!
Kitten Rescue relies on volunteers for every part of our shelter operations. Volunteers are absolutely the key to our success - and we need lots of volunteers to keep our kittens and cats healthy and happy!
We ask that volunteers commit to just one or two shifts a week (1.5 to 2 hours each)
Housekeeping volunteers are our greatest need
We have two shifts for housekeeping each day, seven days a week:
Morning shifts are from 8:00 am AM to Noon
Evening shifts are from 6:00 PM to 7:30 (or 8) PM
The morning shifts involve thorough housekeeping (cleaning cages, scooping and changing litter boxes, changing food and water bowls and linens (when needed), cleaning cages and floors, laundry, and dishes
Evening shifts involve light housekeeping (scooping litter boxes, topping off food and water, making sure cage is clean and comfortable for the night) and socialization time.
