Feral Cat Program

Our feral cat program is a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program for free-roaming community cats who live outside and don’t belong to anyone. TNR is the most effective method for controlling feral cat population growth.

Using this technique, community/feral cats living outside are trapped, spayed/neutered, ear tipped (the universal symbol of a sterilized cat), and then returned to their outdoor home.

​It is not only humane, it is the most effective way to reduce the number of homeless cats. The program has a dramatic impact on the number of kittens and cats entering our shelter.

Here's how the program works:

Rent a trap from us ($10 for up to three traps for three weeks). The fee is non-refundable.

Limited transportation by Kitten Rescue is available. After you fill out the application, we will call you to discuss transportation options.
(Drop off time at Kitten Rescue is 5:00a.m. on the morning of your Appointment.)

Return the following day to pick up the cat.
